What up my dude.

Hot handz
What’s up bro. Thx for getting it in with me.

Marv

No doubt my dude. Praise God. Lets jump into it. How long have you been a believer?

Hothandz
Man, since as long as I can remember. I came out the womb saved…Naw jk. It was very young like 9-10 when I confessed. But it was in high school when I actually started to live it out and understand what being a believer meant.
Mind you Im still learning things today, definitely not perfect.

Marv
Amen. Married? Kids?

Hothandz
Yes I am married to my beautiful wife Marissa of almost 2 fresh years. No kids yet, but I do want kids preferably a daughter first!

Marv
LoL. What is your process when you making a beat

Hothandz
I say a quick prayer… (Prov. 16:3) – then go where ever the wind takes me.
Could be a sample that got me hyped, that I want replay, or a commercial that I like.
I just try to find a sound that inspires me…then rest is history. Beat can take anywhere from 30 mins- 2 hrs.

Marv
How many beats you crank out a day?

Hothandz
Man it started with a goal of 10 a day… went down to 5…3…2…1… and sometimes none a day. But my goal is 5-6 new beats a week. Making a beat is easy, i focus more on writing and making catchy choruses now. Also focus on getting the sound to where it sounds good everywhere, I do dabble in mixing too. Learning alot in the journey about sound.

Marv
Yeah mang im good if I get 4 to 5 tracks a week. 2 tracks that come to mind is Everyday and Another Day by Josh. You produce those right.

Hothandz

Everyday, and Cherish by Young Josh…I think.

Marv

You did do Another Day cause he said your name in it. Anyway those are my favorites.

Hothandz
Ok yea… I get mixed up. Yea I guess I did lol. Thanks man.

Marv

Do you consider yourself to be versatile?

Hothandz
I would say…in music making, yes.

Marv
Hmmm most of the stuff I’ve heard from you has been most soulful and east coast. Not a lot of south or pop stuff.

Hothandz

I actually dont like east cost music like that. When I send an artist tracks, I send techno, dubstep, south. Everyone I work with has picked the safe tracks. Trust me— like 70% of my music has a south swag to it, which you’ll probably here from other artist from me this year. Have you heard lone wolf by tragic hero. Check it out, heavy subs there.
Man, I love doing all types of music, I was told I belong in the UK for some stuff I have. lol

Marv

Ok Im a check it out. Are you good with the dub step stuff?

Hothandz
Still learning some aspects of it, so much going on, which I love! All the Stu..Stu…Stutters in it. Looking for a program for it to help.

Marv

Ok real quick lets talk pricing. Do you a lots of cats that be tryna get over or are they pretty professional when it comes to business?

Hothandz
Man, If I had to choose a side…I worked with a lot of artist that just don’t understand production, so there for don’t know the value of it. I’ve been talking to managers, and other producers, and they been helping me on how to deal with that. It definitely can get frustrating, but at the end of the day- its better to work with like minded people. You may lose artist, but you’ll gain too.
Im glad I got your connect now. Trust you me, this won’t be the last of me!!! lol

Marv
No doubt. what can we expect from you in the future my dude?

Hothandz

Look for me on various artist work like Eshon Burgundy, Rswift, J Johnson, and Japhia Life in near future!

Marv

No doubt bro. Any last words?

Hothandz

Thanks Marv for having me, thanks for your time, and too all the producers and artist- Put Christ 1st and you cant go wrong! Much Luv! Thanks!

Marv

No doubt bruva peace!!!
