Marv
Amen bruh we did have a great time. For those that may not be familiar with you, please let the readers know who you are and what you do.

GP
No doubt. My name is Stephen Abramsamadu also known as GP of Dvine Muzic and 1/4 of New Direction Crew I am a music producer from south London UK also a husband and more importantly a slave to Christ.

Marv
How long have you been producing?

GP
Oh man been a lover of the art for about 12 years

Marv
Who have you  produced for?

GP
Ok Lets see Rswift, Lecrae, Da Truth, S.O., Serene, Json, Jai, Sho, Baraka, jahaziel, Tedashi, and New Direction Crew to name a few.

Marv
Ok, ok. What does day in the studio looks like for you? Whats your process?

GP
Oh man good question life art films and listening to all types of music really inspire me, the day would usually start of with me feeding on one of these pondering about my environment while playing around with samples breaks playing around with chords and than boom just like that I create a whole beat in my head I’ve put it all down in my head breaks fx eq you name it. Then I turn my thoughts and daydreams into reality that how I do my thing

Marv
No doubt How did you get into production?

GP
Man I’ve been playing instruments for years and always had ideas to make music I started working on a Korg O1wFd and a tape player lol made a few terrible beats but my friends at the time loved it so I started making beats for local talent I got serious round about the time the Lord saved me, to be honest with you I heard Christian HipHop and was determined to raise the quality of music. I never looked back.

Marv
Dope! What equipment are you using?

GP
Mac, Logic, Mpc and my imagination. lol

Marv
Ok, ok,  How is the local scene in London? Are opportunities for producer better over there or over here?

GP
Boy I think the scene over here has come to a stop to be honest – there are a few guys still flying the flag like S.O and Jahaziel but its nothing like it was 5/6 years ago – USA is where its at there is an industry a demand a respect for the Art form. I’m thinking about moving over.

Marv
Wow REALLY!! You would be definitely welcomed here bro.

Marv
Whats you thoughts on working with secular artist. Is it a big deal to you?

GP
If we are working with these guys to promote our beliefs our way of life our faith than I have no problem with it  but, if this is flipped the other way and we push theirs than I ask how do you justify making the theme music for the sins Christ came and died for on the cross

Marv
Amen. So what next for G.P.?

GP
Working on S.O album making more music and maybe just maybe start working on my album called “The Prescription”  Let’s see.

Marv No doubt bro. Well this interview was long over due, but I appreciate you chopping it up with me. How can artist get in contact with you for production?

GP
